This Weekend just past was crazy. We we’re running from Thursday (normal weekend) til Sunday night. During that time I realized this is just another week of hustle. Wednesday I get with all of the online promoters in Tampa to see whats going down Thurs – Sat. I have 2 spots that I’m contracted to pass by then I freestyle the rest, well we do. Chae Monet, Miss Monika and myself. We also take along a still camera person and our Security guy(when we can get him).
Anyway this weekend we did 3 clubs thursday, 2 friday and then Saturday for our “Follow me Saturdays” We went to the Hip Hop Awards in Orlando FL. This started at 6:30pm for Red Carpet, can you say UN Or Gan iz Ed. It was nice and all they held it on International drive a the Holiday Inn near Wet and Wild. We were hustling to get there from Tampa on time. Two of the ladies that went with us left on Friday and stayed the whole weekend, the rest of us drove over Saturday at 5:30 3 cars hustling. We made it ther with no time to spare we needed 3 media passes and 2 nominee passes and the rest would pay for tickets. When I tell you it was 7:20 before we got in, got search by the Nation of Islam security (who I love their work) and finally got our “M” put on our hand. I have been to other events in other cities put on by this same group, They even hired me to Film and make a DVD of the last award show in Tampa. I was a nominee back in November but when I say Un org AnIz eD it was that. But overall it was a great event a real nice turnout of artist and industry people plus it looks good on film. I had a great time and all of our folks did too. After the award show we went downtown O-town and hit a few of the drinkers and partiers locations. We took a ton of Face book pics they are under Hood Edition.
Our job is super fun
We did a lot of drinking too they had stuff on special 2 for 1 3.50 ice teas, beer on special it wasnt my fault. But I did get a sunday photo shoot out of the whole experience. There was a new artist getting into town and wanted to do some publicity pics before the weekend was over so we arange that for him. Myself and Chocolate Barbie stayed in Orlando sunday to do the photo shoot. We never rest, I promise.
I am almost finished editing the weekend work and I had to stop today and go pickup the little one it was his birthday he turned 2

and his mom wanted me to come and get him to take some pictures so we did that and hung out for a while, just me and him (he talks so good now). Actually my friend Monica came with us and brought her 3 year old son also. So the weekend turned into another week of hustle.

but I am all in. What this will do is allow us to promote a variety of different clubs without spending the whole night there and also we will be able to get some of our local fans to hang out with us and be apart of the show. So far I have a few clubs and promoters interested. Vybe Ent. does Honey Pot, Neo Ent. had Floyds and The Kennedy, Team Icon has Temple, etc. So what Chae figured out was because we have had so much trouble with owners changing their minds, management being changed mid contract we would simply do a variety of clubs in one night. Have the promoters pay a small amount for our promo service but we are collecting from 3 or 4 groups in one night so it is the same as having our own night at a club. In addition we dont have to baby sit the front door (we can film) we dont have to worry about owers or managment changing mid stream (we have more than one club per night). One location becomes uncertain simply replace them with a new one and keep rolling.
